I’m a San Francisco resident who supports public education and opposes spending public money on costly pro-charter school consultant

I urge you to Vote No on approving a costly contract which would pay $211/hour to pro-charter school consultants.

It’s unacceptable that this costly contract comes at a time when programs for newcomer immigrant students at SF International High School have been slashed, schools have lost clerks and full time nurses, and when paraeducators who work with our disabled students are paid wages below the poverty line. 

We demand Sustainable Community Schools, which are a cost-effective model of providing wraparound services to our families, decrease chronic absenteeism, and which are the anecdote to school closures.
